We are inviting from 3 to 5 emerging directors from each country in Latin America: Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador and Venezuela to write a short film based on the circle of the inferno of the Divine Comedy that corresponds to each one (a floor, an apartment and a story per circle), these stories will interbreed with the story of Gio, the janitor of the building which will be the main location where this film will unfold.

 

The selected director for each country will travel travel with up to 3 of the main cast to Bogota-Colombia for 7 days, in which the short and the required scenes of interaction with the janitor (main character of the general history) will be shot.

 

Each director will make a short film of 10 minutes and 22 seconds, with the credits out of this time. each short will remain intact but are to give the rights to include and change within the HADO film that will have 100 minutes and 22 seconds long.

 

Each story or chapter will have implicit elements (conditions) from the physical to the formal:

 

CONDITIONS TO BE PRESENT IN ALL SHORT FILMS

 

• Confirmation of participation before August 15, 2015

 

• Duration: 10 minutes 22 seconds

 

• The story must be developed on the floor it has been assigned for each country, but it may take public areas of the building as additional locations (hallways or corridors, elevator, stairs, reception or lobby, etc.)

 

• Must be developed with maximum 3 main characters (can include secondaries or extras)

 

• It should include two scenes where have contact with Gio (the building's janitor), the first one at the minute 3, the second one on the minute 6 and should make a reference to the unexpected disappearance of Gio at the end of each story

 

• Send a synopsis (1-2 pages) of the film before September 15 of 2015 in pdf format to the  mail lapreprosoluciones@gmail.com
